What is wall sculpture decor?
Wall Sculpture Decor is three dimensional artwork that is made for the wall, or meant to hang. Offering lots of opportunities for shadows, depth, and design, the three dimensionality of wall sculpture permits these artists below to produce some fabulous work!

Michael Sherrill

A local of Western North Carolina, Michael Sherrill has been experimenting with colored ceramic sculpture for decades now. His work combines intricately crafted pieces of colored clay and forged metals which serve as the primary structure of the pieces. These sculptures are beautiful examples of wall sculpture decor for any space. Michael's work can be found across the United States and world in museums and private collections.

Alice Ballard

Based out of South Carolina, Alice creates series of sculptural wall hangings made of ceramic materials. These pods are inspired by natures forms and what Alice calls a "deconstruction of nature."

Rick Beck

Rick's work in glass is a mixture of human and mechanical forms, with an emphasis on more formal elements. Interested in playing the volumes of mass against the rhythm of the lines, his pieces are an interplay of the visual  and  verbal. Combining elements of organic, human life and man-made mechanical objects are meant to challenge the mind and draw the interest of anyone who sees the work.

Matt Tommey

Based in Asheville, North Carolina's River Arts District, Matt's sculptural wall hangings combine contemporary basketry and elements of nature to create modern rustic decor for any space. He uses basket weaving as a medium for sculpture and creates many different forms of baskets as well as incorporates baskets into other pieces, or together, to create beautiful finished pieces.
