Each wine bottle basket is handcrafted by Matt to ensure the highest quality and fit for a variety of bottle sizes.

The Process

Matt begins by selecting the highest quality natural materials, including kudzu, honeysuckle, bittersweet and grape vines. He then harvests bark from felled tulip poplar trees to make the base of each basket. The weaving of each baskets takes about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting the materials harvesting time.

To finish each of these unique creations, Matt hand-hammers a copper leaf and attaches it to the basket for that high-end finishing touch.
